Video: “I Don’t Want To Bury Him”, Sound Sultan’s Wife, Farida Cries Out At Her Husband’s Burial
Veteran Nigerian Singer, Sound Sultan has passed on after battling with an ailment for some time.
According to the statement that was released by the family, the singer lost the battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma. The ailment is a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and it is a group of related malignancies (cancers) that affect the lymphatic system.

Sound Sultan was multi-talented and versatile when he was alive. He used to be a singer, a rapper, an actor, a comedian and a recording artiste. He dominated in the late 90s and early 2000s.
He had released so many hit songs with other Ace musical artistes like 2Face Idibia, Faze, Wyclef Jean and lots more. He became a UN Ambassador for peace because of his exemplary lifestyle in the year 2012.
The death of Sound Sultan breaks many people’s hearts. Many people love him, most especially for his humility. When he was the talk of the town, he never looked down on anybody. He treated everybody nicely and people really admired that about him.
Sound Sultan was survived by a beautiful wife, Farida Fasasi and three children; Zara Fasasi, Bidemi Fasasi, and Mayowa Fasasi. Despite his fame and riches, Sound Sultan was a typical family man who devoted most of his time to his family.
He had been married to his wife since 2009 and they both maintained a healthy relationship for over 11 years.

When the wife was invited to throw sand on her husband’s coffin, she kept saying “I don’t want to bury him. I don’t want to bury him, I don’t want to bury him…”
She repeated this sentence multiple times as she continues to weep. She was really broken by her husband’s demise. At some point, she also embraced her husband’s coffin tightly as she laid her head on it.
